Technical Account Manager - Fresh Produce

We're working with a leading fresh produce business supplying major UK supermarkets and processing customers, who are looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join their team.

This is a customer-facing role where you'll own a key retail account, build strong relationships and make sure technical, quality and food safety standards are delivered across the supply chain.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing key supermarket customer account
• Leading customer meetings, reviews and technical plans
• Managing specifications, portals, complaints and KPIs
• Supporting NPD, artwork and product approvals
• Driving quality improvement and reducing customer complaints
• Supporting BRCGS, supplier, grower and ethical audits
• Managing organic certification and customer audits
• Working with suppliers, growers and international partners
• Supporting pesticide, microbiological and food safety requirements

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years' technical experience within fresh produce
• Strong supermarket/customer-facing experience
• BRCGS and audit knowledge
• HACCP & Food Safety Level 3
• Experience with customer portals and specifications
• Supplier/grower auditing experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, commercial and can-do attitude
