We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.

• Providing technical advice and recommending pumping solutions that meet customer requirements.

• Preparing quotations, proposals, and technical specifications.

• Conducting customer site visits and surveys.

• Working closely with internal engineering and service teams to deliver projects successfully.

• Negotiating contracts and closing sales opportunities.

• Monitoring market trends and identifying new opportunities.

• Representing the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.

• Achieving agreed sales targets and contributing to business growth.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in technical sales within the pumping industry or a related fluid handling sector.

• Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, booster sets, wastewater pumps, pressure systems, or associated equipment.

• An engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent industry experience.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Commercial awareness with a consultative approach to sales.

• The ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

• Good organisational and time management skills.

• Own transport (due to office location)

Desirable Experience

Experience working with products such as:

• Water boosting systems

• Wastewater pumping stations

• HVAC pumping systems

• Industrial process pumps

• Pump controls and variable speed drives

• Mechanical services or water treatment equipment
