Telemarketer / Lead Generation Executive

£40,000 Basic + £500-£1,000 Monthly Bonus | Northampton

Are you someone who genuinely loves being on the phone?

Our client is looking for an experienced, resilient Telemarketer / Lead Generation Executive to join their growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows how to start conversations, handle rejection and turn cold calls into genuine sales opportunities.

This isn't a role for someone who is hesitant about picking up the phone. You'll be making 100+ outbound calls a day, with the aim of generating quality leads and booking at least one appointment a day for the sales team.

What you'll be doing

• Making 100+ outbound calls per day from a supplied database
• Identifying new business opportunities and booking appointments
• Speaking with commercial and industrial businesses across a variety of sectors
• Building rapport with potential customers and understanding their requirements
• Following up previous conversations, warm leads and quotations
• Qualifying opportunities before passing them to the sales team
• Recording detailed and accurate information on Pipedrive CRM
• Working closely with the sales team to maximise every opportunity
• Consistently working towards call, lead and appointment targets

What are we looking for?

Our client is ideally looking for someone with around 5 years' experience in telemarketing, telesales, lead generation or another high-volume B2B sales environment.

You'll be someone who:

• Is highly confident and comfortable making outbound calls
• Doesn't take rejection personally
• Is persistent and resilient - "no" simply means try again
• Enjoys working towards targets and seeing measurable results
• Can quickly build rapport with different types of people
• Is confident speaking with decision-makers
• Has excellent attention to detail when recording conversations and updating CRM
• Can manage a high-volume workload without losing quality
• Is proactive, commercially minded and genuinely motivated by generating opportunities

Experience within equipment hire, industrial, engineering, manufacturing or another B2B environment would be advantageous, but the right personality and proven telephone ability are more important.
