London, EC1N | £28,000 – £30,000 + Commission

Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with the opportunity to go permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – office-based on Tuesdays and Thursdays, working from home on the remaining days.

We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Working within a fast-paced sales environment, you’ll be responsible for engaging with builders across the UK, identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into sales. This is a predominantly phone-based role, offering the opportunity to manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to closing deals.

• Proactively contact builders and prospective customers across the UK to generate new business.

• Identify, qualify and develop sales opportunities through outbound calls.

• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to negotiation and closing deals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

• Work towards and exceed sales targets, KPIs and revenue objectives.

• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using CRM systems.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend the London office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Adapt to changing business needs and contribute to the wider success of the sales team.

• At least 6 months’ experience in sales, telesales, internal sales, business development or lead generation.

• Confident making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers.

• Experience managing sales opportunities and converting leads into business.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Self-motivated, commercially minded and driven to achieve targets.

• Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment.

• Confident using CRM systems and other sales tools.

• £28,000 – £30,000 basic salary, depending on experience.

• Commission eligibility following successful completion of a 3-month probation period.

• Hybrid working, with office attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 working hours.
