Job Description:

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a TP141 Commissioning Engineer on a 6 Month Rolling Contract, located in London.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated TP141 Commissioning Engineer to join our team for a major 400kV substation build project in London. The ideal candidate must possess proven experience in commissioning live substations and hold a valid TP141 certification.

Responsibilities:

•     Execute commissioning activities for a high voltage 400kV substation.

•     Ensure safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards during the commissioning process.

•     Collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

•     Conduct thorough testing and inspection of all equipment and systems.

•     Document and report findings, ensuring all commissioning records are maintained.

Requirements

•     Valid TP141 certification.

•     Proven experience commissioning live 400kV substations.

•     Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.

•     Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

•     Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
