Trainee / Graduate Recruitment Consultant - UK Renewable Energy

Bristol City Centre

£26,000 basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £40-48k in year one) + Award-winning Training + Clear path to Director + 25 days holiday + Early finish Fridays

You'll join our Bristol energy desk as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, focused on the UK renewable energy market: solar, wind, storage, grid and the engineers behind the net zero transition. From day one you'll be learning to headhunt top technical talent, build relationships with clients and candidates, and run hires from first call to offer. You'll have structured training and hands-on coaching behind you.

You don't need recruitment experience or an engineering background. We'll teach you the industry and the craft. We're looking for someone ambitious, money-motivated and resilient, who likes talking to people and wants to be rewarded for hard work.

What you'll be doing:

• Becoming the go-to recruiter for your patch of the renewables market, with clients and candidates calling you first.
• Headhunting engineers and specialists through LinkedIn, phone, email, job boards and our 21-year database.
• Managing the full process: taking briefs, shortlisting, interviews, offers and placements.
• Building long-term relationships with hiring managers at renewable energy businesses.
• Getting out to client meetings and industry events as your confidence grows.

What we're looking for:

• Drive and self-motivation. You set goals and go after them.
• Financial motivation. Basic is £26k, first-year OTE is £40-48k, and plenty of people beat that.
• Resilience and a good sense of humour. Some days are tough, and the wins make it worth it.
• Strong communication skills and a professional manner. Our clients hire for high-value roles and expect a top-class service.
