Job Description:

We’re looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Stansted Mountfitchet. You’ll learn how to connect construction professionals with employers across the industry, building relationships with candidates and clients while developing your own specialist market.

You don’t need recruitment experience to apply. We’ll provide training and support; what matters most is your communication skills, drive and willingness to learn.

What you’ll do

• Find and speak with candidates looking for opportunities in construction.

• Build relationships with construction professionals, from site staff to senior management.

• Learn about clients’ businesses, projects and hiring requirements.

• Match candidates to suitable roles and guide them through the recruitment process.

• Write and post job adverts, search CV databases and use social media to find candidates.

• Arrange interviews and gather feedback from candidates and clients.

• Keep accurate records of conversations and activity on the company’s database.

• Work towards individual and team targets with support from experienced consultants.

• Good organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Motivation to work towards goals and earn commission.

• An interest in construction, property or the built environment.

• Previous sales, customer service or recruitment experience is helpful, but not essential.
