Trainee SEN Teacher, supporting children and young people with Autism and additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to begin a career as a
Trainee SEN Teacher, Graduate SEN Behaviour Analyst, Behaviour Mentor, Autism Support Assistant, or Psychology Graduate Practitioner, with clear progression into specialist education, therapy, or behaviour-based roles.

The Role – Trainee SEN Teacher - Working as a Trainee SEN Teacher supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small specialist classes
- Delivering behaviour-based learning, communication support, and structured interventions
- Supporting social, emotional, and life skills development
- Assisting with personalised learning programmes and individual progress targets
- Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists, and behaviour specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs, including dysregulated behaviour where required
- Contributing to a consistent, structured, and supportive learning environment
Ideal Candidate- Graduate in Psychology, Linguistics, English Language, Education, Sociology, Childhood Studies, Criminology, or related field
- Interested in roles such as Trainee SEN Teacher, Graduate SEN Behaviour Analyst, SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or Autism Support Assistant
- Passionate about SEN, Autism, communication, behaviour, or child development
- Calm, resilient, and proactive approach in challenging situations
- Comfortable supporting pupils with complex needs and behaviour that challenges
- Previous experience with children or vulnerable individuals desirable (professional, voluntary, or personal)
- Open to supporting personal care where required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
