Transport Admin Clerk – Daventry

Excellent Rates | Ongoing Work | Potential Permanent Position
We are recruiting a reliable and organised Transport Clerks to join a busy and professional transport operation in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants regular, ongoing work with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
PAY RATES
DAY SHIFTS (07:00-15:00)

• Standard: £14.78 per hour
• Overtime: £22.17 per hour

AFTERNOON SHIFTS (15:00-23:00)

• Standard: £15.52 per hour
• Overtime: £23.28 per hour

NIGHT SHIFTS (23:00-07:00)

• Standard: £16.26 per hour
• Overtime: £24.39 per hour

Overtime paid after 40 hours!
Some weekend work required

THE ROLE
As a Transport Clerk, you will play an important part in keeping the transport operation running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driver pre-brief and debrief
• Completing transport paperwork and administration
• Updating transport systems accurately
• Communicating with drivers and the wider transport team
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate transport records
• Supporting the smooth running of the transport office
• General duties associated with a busy Transport Clerk position

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience as a Transport Clerk or within transport/logistics
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confidence working in a busy transport environment
• Good IT and administration skills
• A flexible approach to working some weekends
