Job Description:

Wellingborough -Full Time Monday - Friday 37.5 hrs -Office based role - September start

Are you an organised administrator with experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a global manufacturing business in Wellingborough, providing maternity cover within a busy transport team. This role offers the chance to coordinate UK and international shipments, work with freight providers and customs agents, and play a key role in ensuring products reach customers efficiently and on time.

• Coordinate UK, European and worldwide shipments
• Arrange road, air and sea freight transportation
• Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Organise collections from suppliers and inbound deliveries
• Monitor shipments and resolve transport issues
• Maintain accurate transport documentation
• Provide shipment updates to customers and internal teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the transport function

Essential:

• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• A proactive approach to problem solving

Desirable:

• Experience within transport, logistics, warehouse or supply chain environments
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and transportation providers
• Understanding of customs procedures and international shipping
• Experience using SAP or warehouse management systems [RE: Mat leave role | Outlook]
