Transport Manager – Redditch (Permanent)

Blackstone Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager on behalf of a well-established business based in Redditch.

This is an excellent opportunity for a transport professional looking to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the day-to-day management of transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily transport operation
• Ensure compliance with Operator Licence requirements
• Manage driver performance, compliance and scheduling
• Monitor driver hours, tachographs and Working Time Regulations
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance
• Liaise with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders
• Support fleet management and vehicle utilisation
• Drive operational efficiency and service performance

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar transport leadership role
• Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance
• Knowledge of driver hours, tachographs and Operator Licence requirements
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• CPC qualification desirable
