We are seeking someone who can contribute to the growth of the team, build strong client relationships, and support the delivery of high-quality transport planning projects across the UK.
The Role As a Transport Planning Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of transport planning services for both private and public sector clients. You will work closely with senior team members while also taking ownership of your own projects and client interactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
- Supporting Team Leaders in the delivery of transport planning projects
- Undertaking site visits and collecting relevant transport data
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders
- Using industry-standard software including ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and planning documentation
- Contributing to project development and business growth opportunities
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of UK Transport Planning standards and guidance
About You We are looking for a proactive and confident individual who is passionate about transport planning and professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within Transport Planning
- A relevant degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline
- Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Statements, and Travel Plans
- Proficiency in ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG software
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
- A full UK driving licence (preferred)
