Job Title: UAT Test Manager & Test Environments Release Lead
Location: Flexible
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
Daily Rate: £500 - £600
Working Pattern: Full Time

Our client, a prominent player in the Banking and Financial Services sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced UAT Test Manager & Test Environments Release Lead. This dual role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution and governance of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across the Credit Risk & Management portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

UAT Management:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and governance of UAT across multiple projects, applications, and releases.
• Collaborate with Business Owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define UAT scope, acceptance criteria, and participation requirements.
• Ensure comprehensive traceability between business requirements and execution evidence.

Programme Test Environment Coordination:

• Maintain an integrated view of test environments, applications, and interface requirements across all programme workstreams.
• Track environment availability and readiness, ensuring all necessary resources are in place for testing phases.

Test Release & Deployment Coordination:

• Work with Test Leads and Technical Delivery Managers to identify application releases required for testing.
• Support release-readiness decisions by providing accurate environment and deployment status.

Governance & Reporting:

• Participate in programme test governance and readiness reviews, ensuring compliance with quality gates and standards.
• Provide timely and clear reporting to the Programme Test Manager and relevant stakeholders on UAT progress, risks, and completion status.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• Strong experience as a Test Manager, UAT Test Manager, or Senior Test Lead within the banking or financial services domain.
• Proven track record in managing UAT across multiple projects and releases.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end test management, including defect management and reporting.
• Experience with Jira and Xray or similar test management tools.

Key Skills:

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders up to C-suite level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SQL.

Desirable Experience:

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Release Management, or Change Management.
• Experience in risk, finance, and regulatory reporting.
