Labourer / Van Driver – Building & Construction

Location: yard based in Leighton Buzzard, with travel to sites across Milton Keynes, Luton, Flitwick and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £16-£17

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Van Driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for travelling to different building and construction sites, delivering and collecting materials, and assisting with general labouring duties. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive a company van between sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a company van to various sites, including Milton Keynes, Luton, Flitwick and surrounding areas
• Load and unload building materials safely
• Deliver materials, tools and equipment to site
• Assist tradesmen and other site workers as required
• Carry out general labouring and manual handling duties
• Keep work areas, vehicles and equipment clean and organised
• Ensure materials are transported and stored safely
• Follow all company health and safety procedures
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous labouring, construction or warehouse experience would be advantageous
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of the local area would be beneficial
• Must be comfortable travelling between different sites
