Warehouse Administrator Nights 

Location: Barton under Needwood
Salary: £29,165.10
Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 8:15pm – 5:30am
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Our client, a leading logistics and automotive aftermarket operation based in Barton under Needwood, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join their busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to secure a long-term position within a fast-paced operational environment.

The Role
As a Warehouse Administrator, you will support the day-to-day warehouse and transport operation through accurate administration, reporting, shipment processing, and communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal departments.
This is a varied role suited to someone who can work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Create vehicles for inbound receipt and ensure timely closure of inbound loads
• Produce pick sheets, delivery notes, labels, and operational reports
• Allocate shipments and maintain route and allocation logs
• Monitor and resolve processing errors
• Support outbound load closure
• Liaise with drivers, transport teams, warehouse staff, and helpdesks
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and operational logs
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and SAP track & trace activities
• Screen incoming telephone calls and provide administrative support to site operations

Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous administration experience within a warehouse, logistics, or transport environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good numerical ability and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Professional and customer-focused approach

Desirable

• SAP knowledge preferred
• Previous experience within warehousing or distribution operations
• People management skills
• A-Level education or equivalent
