Job Description:

IRD Recruitment is seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Nether Heyford, Northampton.

This is a physically demanding, heavy-lifting role, primarily involving loading delivery vans with heavy and bulky goods as part of a warehouse team.

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred

• Must be comfortable with regular heavy lifting

• Physically capable of carrying out demanding manual work

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Experience loading vans or handling bulky goods beneficial

• Strong health and safety awareness

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Positive attitude and good communication skills

Job Details

• Sunday to Thursday

• Shift: 21:00 – 06:00

• Breaks are unpaid

• Immediate start

Key Responsibilities

• Loading delivery vans with heavy and bulky goods as part of a team

• Regular heavy lifting, carrying and moving of products

• Working alongside colleagues to ensure vans are loaded safely and efficiently

• Organising and positioning goods securely inside delivery vehicles

• Handling large and heavy items using safe manual-handling techniques and appropriate equipment

• Ensuring all vehicles are loaded correctly and ready for dispatch

• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment

• Following all site health and safety procedures

THIS IS A HEAVY-LIFTING ROLE, NOT A LIGHT WAREHOUSE PICKING OR PACKING POSITION.

The majority of your shift will involve physically loading delivery vans with heavy goods alongside other team members.

Candidates must be prepared for repetitive lifting, carrying and moving bulky products throughout the night.
