Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Sittingbourne, ME10
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, rotating shifts: 6am-2pm and 10am-6pm)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £13.00 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join a global medical healthcare company based in Sittingbourne. This role plays an important part in supporting vital health services by ensuring efficient and accurate warehouse operations. Working in a clean and well-organised warehouse, you will carry out a variety of tasks that help maintain the smooth running of our supply chain.

• Accurately pick and pack orders using a hand-held device
  
  
• Organise and maintain stock levels within the warehouse
  
  
• Complete documentation and system updates in line with company procedures
  
  
• Handle urgent calls and requests from other departments promptly
  
  
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of warehouse processes
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  
  

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics setting
  
  
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks over sustained periods
  
  
• Familiarity with warehouse tools or devices (e.g. scanners, stock systems)
  
  
• Reliable team player who can also work independently when required
  
  
• Basic English and maths skills
  
  
• A responsible approach to workplace health & safety and the use of PPE
  
  
• Must live within 45 minutes walking distance or have own transport (no suitable public transport for 6am start)
