All About the Role
Based at our Lilleshall Steel Services Site in Gloucester we have a new opening for a Warehouse Operative. The purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment.

The shifts hours are rotating Monday to Friday 5:30am to 2:00pm then Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 10pm 

Specific tasks could include:

• Pick computer generated orders with handling/lifting of heavy and large item utilising the correct equipment.
• Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
• Operate saws when trained to do so
• Transferring stock to its location using Forklift trucks and cranes.
• Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
• Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements
• Any duties required in the role, all to be carried out with the highest regard for Health & Safety

Essential Skills for the role: 

• The successful candidate will have experience as a Warehouse Operative ideally with both bandsaw and crane experience.
• Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Fork-Lift and Side-loader is desirable but not essential.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Driving Licence is preferred
• Health & Safety awareness.
