Job Description:

Role: Warehouse Operative
Location: Stevenage
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary: £27,930 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy and growing warehouse team based in Stevenage.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, suited to someone who is reliable, hardworking, and enjoys being part of a team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of warehouse duties including picking orders, goods in, loading vehicles, stock control, and general warehouse housekeeping.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Receiving and booking in deliveries
• Loading and unloading trailers, vans, and deliveries
• Moving stock safely throughout the warehouse
• Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts
• Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch
• Using pallet trucks and warehouse equipment where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Supporting other warehouse functions as required
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

What we would like from you:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience with picking, goods in, or dispatch operations advantageous
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
• Basic English and numeracy skills
