Job Description:

Location: Greenfield, OL3
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Holiday: 31 days per year, including bank holidays

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team based in Greenfield.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, has good attention to detail and enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment. You will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure orders are processed accurately, goods are handled safely and stock is kept organised.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assembling and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading containers, including handling yarn bales weighing up to 50kg.
• Carrying out quality checks and assisting with stock control.
• Undertaking light assembly of goods.
• Supporting internal logistics and the movement of goods around the warehouse.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, hardworking and well organised.
• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Can work independently and manage their workload effectively.
• Is comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment.
• Is physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting heavy items where required.
• Has previous warehouse experience (desirable, but not essential).

A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are just as important as previous experience.

Working Hours

40 hours per week:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:50pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:40pm
