Job Description:

Warehouse Operative – Forklift Licence Ideally Required

Location: Chatham, Kent
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Ongoing Temporary, with the opportunity to go Permanent (Temp to Perm)

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join an established company specialising in fire detection and emergency lighting products, based in Chatham, Kent.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Goods inwards and checking stock.
• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with day-to-day duties.
• Ensuring orders are prepared and dispatched on time.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• A valid forklift licence would be highly advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
