Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

Location: Duxford, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, rotating weekly shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Contract Type: Full Time, 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Our client, a successful manufacturing company based in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team on a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract.

As the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Booking stock onto the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Putting stock away into designated locations.
• Liaising with couriers.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse.

An ideal candidate for the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver role will have:

• A valid Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift licence.
• RTITB or another recognised forklift training qualification.
• Previous warehouse experience – essential.
• GCSE standard education or equivalent, including Maths and English.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely within a busy warehouse environment.

Ideally, you will have experience within a similar warehouse and forklift position. Interviews will take place in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, following a registration process by PureKat Consultancy Ltd.
