Job Description:

Warehouse Supervisor

£30,000 to £34,000 plus benefits

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily operational management of the Warehouse. Leading a small team in a fast-moving warehouse, the position ensures an efficient, safe, and accurate execution of all Logistics processes for handling, storing, and shipping our clients’ products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities for the Warehouse Supervisor:

• Coordinating and monitoring the daily warehouse and shipping activities, ensuring correct execution of receiving, storage, picking, and shipping goods.
• Being actively present in the workplace (management by walking around).
• Analysing stock discrepancies, damages and loading errors.
• Coordinate with Transport teams, Office Team, and Customer Services to resolve issues.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Operating regulations. Following warehouse standards, policies, and procedure (SOP’s)
• Managing Warehouse team, overseeing all aspects of training, coaching, development, performance reviews, return to work, and personnel issues.
• Promote collaboration, engagement, and a positive work culture across departments.
• Making improvement proposals with an impact on processes and organization.
• Training and Development, ensuring Training Matrix completed and reviewed on a regular basis.

Main requirements for the Warehouse Supervisor:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar position providing leadership support and guidance for team members.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Experience with ERP systems an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise key tasks while maintaining calm approach.
• Good communicative and social skills.
• Valid in date FLT Counterbalance Licence required.

Hours of work for the Warehouse Supervisor:

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm
