Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer / Account Manager

Location: Dartford, Kent

Salary/Benefits: £32k - £45k + Training & Benefits

Our client is an independent compliance outfit, with a developing Water Treatment / Legionella department. To aid their continued growth, they are seeking a hands-on Water Treatment Engineer, who has experience with managing key client accounts. This is an exciting role for someone who has an ambitious nature and hardworking attitude, as you will be integral in supporting ongoing business development.  The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills, a wealth of industry knowledge, and strong sales acumen. Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer
• Will be confident in managing key client accounts
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident using IT software
• Ideally will have proven sales experience and success
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs

The Role:

• Attending client sites to conduct a wide range of pre-planned Water Treatment duties
• Closed system sampling, analysis and dosing
• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
• System chlorinations
• Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
• Managing key client accounts, acting as a key point of contact for any issues / queries
• On-boarding new engineers
• Upselling of further company services to existing clients
• Identifying potential client leads and buisness opportunities
• Upgrading and renewing existing client accounts
• Promoting company services to new clients
• Attending sites to scope for new projects
• Supporting quotations for new works
• Maintaining and building strong relationships with clients
