Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Controller to join our client's reputable dealership in Helston, Cornwall. Duties of a Workshop Controller:

• Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the workshop
• Allocate work efficiently to ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing
• Maintain high standards of quality and adherence to workshop KPIs
• Liaise with customers, providing updates and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Manage labour sales to meet and exceed revenue targets as a Workshop Controller
• Lead and motivate the workshop team to optimise performance and productivity
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained within the workshop environment

Requirements of a Workshop Controller:

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within a busy workshop environment
• Experience in a car or commercial dealership is essential
• Service advisors or experienced technicians with leadership qualities will also be considered
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Able to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively
• Strong knowledge of workshop processes, KPIs, and quality standards
