Job Description:

Role: Year 6 Class Teacher (Maths specialism)

Start Date: January 2027

Location: Blackheath

Contract Term: 2 term contract initially

Salary: £39,000 - £51,000

A leading independent prep school in South East London, bordering Blackheath and Greenwich is seeking a Year 6 Teacher with a focus on Maths from January 2027. This is a two term contract initially.

The school are looking for someone who has experience of teaching a KS2 class, preferably Year 5 or Year 6 and is very able and confident with teaching Year 6 Maths. You will be expected to plan and deliver imaginative, stimulating lessons which inspire the children and encourage a genuine spirit of enquiry.
