Accounts Assistant
Lydney
£30,000 per annum

Autograph Recruitment is working with a business in Lydney to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support its day-to-day finance function.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the detail right and likes being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries.
• Supporting payment runs and bank reconciliations.
• Monitoring outstanding payments and assisting with credit control.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting with month-end tasks and general finance administration.

The Ideal Candidate:

You’ll have previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role, with good attention to detail and a practical approach to resolving queries.

You’ll also bring:

• Confidence using Excel and accounting software.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload.
• Good communication skills when speaking with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
• A willingness to get involved and support the wider team.

An AAT qualification, or working towards one, would be beneficial, but relevant experience is just as valuable.
