SRS Recruitment Solutions are one of the UK’s leading Construction Product Recruiters and we a delighted to be assisting our client leading in their search for an AREA SALES MANAGER. Our client is a leading Joinery Manufacturer & Distributor and due to expansion they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. Ideally you would be experienced in Joinery Products and have strong sales skills. Having worked in the Builders / Timber Merchant sector would also be an advantage, to have a good understanding of the construction sector.

Reporting to: SALES DIRECTOR   

As AREA SALES MANAGER you will be working closely with the sales team and clients you will ensure all proposals meet client specifications within their budget while maximizing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities as AREA SALES MANAGER  

• Selling a compressive range of high-quality joinery products
• Quoting and costing customer requirements  
• Understanding customer needs and requirements,
• Organizing your own diary, visit clients to maximize productivity and territory coverage
• Grow & develop your relations with Merchants & Retailors and expand your accounts

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required as AREA SALES MANAGER  

• Proven experience in sales ideally in the Joinery Sector
• General Construction knowledge essential & knowledge of Joinery / Fire Doors / Door Sets
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• Confident and professional telephone manner  
• Effective communication skills
• Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
• Good IT skills & PC literate and experience
