Assembly Technician

Hours: Day shift with an early finish on Friday

Actio Electronics Recruitment is working with a well‑established electronics manufacturer in Luton to recruit an experienced Assembly Technician. This is a  day‑shift role offering stability, a supportive team environment, and an early Friday finish.

The Role

You will support the build and preparation of electronic products across the full assembly process. Daily duties will include:

• Electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and hand soldering following work instructions and build documentation

• Carrying out sub‑assemblies 

• Receiving and checking incoming goods

• Picking components and assembly kits from stock and reporting any shortages

• Packing finished products for despatch to customers and external suppliers

What They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A background in electronic or electrical assembly

• Confident hand‑soldering skills

• Experience working to build instructions, drawings or job sheets

• A methodical approach with strong attention to detail
