Duties of the Assistant Aftersales Manager:

• Support the effective management of the dealership’s aftersales operation
• Oversee service department activities to optimise efficiency and profitability
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to meet departmental and business objectives
• Ensure high standards of customer care, resolving concerns professionally and promptly
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through excellent service and communication
• Proactively identify solutions to improve customer satisfaction and service quality
• Utilise available resources effectively to support dealership performance
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, increased quality, and reduced inefficiencies
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer care

Requirements of the Assistant Aftersales Manager:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Controller, or similar leadership role within a franchised automotive dealership
• Strong knowledge of aftersales operations and service department processes
• Experience using Keyloop/Kerridge dealership management systems
• Track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving operational targets
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Automotive technical qualifications such as NVQ, ATA, HFC, or equivalent are desirable
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points
• Legal right to work in the UK
