A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected main contractor operating within the Channel Islands.

The Role
Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will assist in the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with cost reporting and budget management
• Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Managing valuations and payment applications
• Supporting variation and change management processes
• Assisting with subcontractor accounts
• Commercial reporting and project forecasting
• Supporting the commercial team throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Previous experience within a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying role
• Construction industry experience with a main contractor, subcontractor or consultancy
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Degree qualified or working towards a relevant qualification preferred
• Must hold a British Passport or have unrestricted Right to Work in the UK to be eligible for relocation
