Assistant Site Manager
House Building
£43,000 - £51,000 DOE

Assistant Site Managers required to support the successful delivery of residential developments across Edinburgh and the Lothians for a private large scale house builder with a national footprint. As a leading 5* house builder, they offer competitive salaries, benefits and career development to their teams.

Working closely with the Site Manager and Construction Manager, you will help oversee daily site operations, ensuring programs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will assist in co-ordinating labour, plant and materials while maintaining strong communication with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.

The role will involve supporting site health & safety compliance, monitoring progress against programme targets, helping manage subcontractor performance and contributing to a proactive working environment on site. You will also assist with customer care and quality control throughout the build process.

Applicants should have previous experience within housebuilding or residential construction and a good understanding of NHBC standards. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication and the ability to work well within a fast-paced site team are essential.

Essential Requirements

• SMSTS
• First Aid 
• Experience working within residential construction
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Scaffold Awareness / Inspection
• Temporary Works Coordinator
• Experience working to NHBC standards
