Greys Specialist Recruitment are working on behalf of a growing business within the vehicle recovery and fleet services sector, who are looking to appoint a commercially driven Business Development Executive.

This is a genuine 360 sales role, suited to someone who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and growing accounts over the long term.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging with B2B clients, onboarding new customers, managing existing relationships and driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the customer base.

The company works with businesses that operate vehicle fleets, including HGVs, vans and commercial vehicles, providing essential support services that help keep their operations moving.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants ownership, autonomy and progression. There is a clear opportunity to grow within the role, and for the right person, the potential to build a team around them as the customer base expands.

The Role

As Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from initial lead generation through to client onboarding and ongoing account growth.

You will have access to an established CRM containing around 3,000 existing and historic contacts, giving you a strong starting point for re-engaging previous customers, identifying warm opportunities and building a consistent pipeline.

We are looking for someone commercially sharp, proactive and confident speaking with business owners, fleet managers, operations managers and senior decision-makers.

You do not need to come directly from vehicle recovery, although experience in logistics, transport, fleet services, supply chain, commercial vehicles or a related B2B service environment would be highly relevant.
