Business Development Manager - EV Charging

Location: UK-based | Hybrid/Field-based

Are you an experienced technical sales or business development professional with a strong background in EV charging or battery energy storage?

Our client, a global leader in power electronics and energy solutions, is expanding its EV charging business across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new business across EV OEMs, utilities and charging point operators, while managing key customer relationships and driving growth across the market.

As the Business Development Manager - EV Charging, you will:

• Create business development strategies and sales plans across the EV charging market.
• Identify new opportunities across EV OEMs, utilities and charging point operators
• Develop and manage strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
• Coordinate technical and commercial bids, negotiate contracts and manage project pipelines.
• Drive sales targets, revenue growth and new business opportunities across the focused markets.
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows and industry networking events.

Key Skills and Experience for this Business Development Manager - EV Charging role:

• Provable technical sales or business development experience within EV Charging Solutions or Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of EV charging, Power Conditioning Systems and Battery Energy Storage solutions.
• Excellent understanding of sales, business development and account management processes, with strong customer relationship and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commercial approach are essential.
