Business Development Manager

£40,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, working with companies that require international payment and foreign exchange solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Proactively identifying and targeting new business opportunities across a range of industries.

• Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospective clients.

• Engaging with business owners, Finance Directors, CFOs and key decision-makers.

• Understanding clients' international payment requirements and presenting tailored solutions.

• Managing the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting through to closing deals.

• Developing long-term client relationships to maximise revenue opportunities.

• Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity.

About You

We are looking for a motivated, confident and commercially minded sales professional with a proven track record of generating new business.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Business Development Manager or new business sales role.

• A demonstrable track record of winning new clients and exceeding sales targets.

• Experience selling financial services, foreign exchange, international payments or other B2B solutions would be advantageous.

• Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.

• Confidence engaging with senior business decision-makers.

• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine hunger to succeed.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
