Job Description:

CNC Turner / CNC Machinist

Location: Lancashire
Job Type: Full-Time (39 hours per week) or Part-Time Considered
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (competitive and dependent on experience and skillset)

An established engineering and manufacturing business in Lancashire is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to support its production team.

We are looking for a skilled individual who is ideally time-served, although candidates with proven CNC production machining experience will also be considered. The successful applicant should have experience setting and operating CNC lathes and be confident making program adjustments and offset changes. Programming experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Producing high-quality components to specification
• Adjusting offsets and modifying existing CNC programs as required
• Maintaining productivity and quality standards within a production environment
• Working safely and effectively as part of the manufacturing team

Requirements:

• Time-served CNC Turner preferred
• Experience with Fanuc-controlled lathes is highly desirable
• Proven CNC production machining experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
• 39 hours per week

The business also operates an early shift and, when required, a late shift. Early shift opportunities may be available once skills and competency have been demonstrated.
