Contracts Manager
Guernsey – fully on site
£60-70k DOE

Apex is proud to be working with a privately owned structural engineering consultancy delivering design, analysis, and technical support across residential, commercial, and construction projects throughout the UK and Channel Islands, currently seeking a Contract Manager in Guernsey. The business works closely with developers, architects, contractors, and private clients to provide practical, cost-effective structural solutions from concept through to completion.

The Contract Manager will oversee the delivery of structural, projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will act as the key point of contact between site teams, clients, and consultants, driving programme performance, resolving technical and commercial issues, and maintaining strong control over cost, risk, and contract obligations across multiple live projects.

Qualifications of the Contracts Manager

• Proven experience in contract negotiation, preparation, and end-to-end contract management.
• Strong understanding of legal, financial, and regulatory requirements relating to contracts.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to assess and manage risk effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing client and stakeholder relationships.
• Background in Structures, Cladding or Steelworks.
• Demonstrated ability to control budgets and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
• Competent in the use of contract and project management software systems.

Desirable

• Previous experience within construction, civil engineering, or marine construction is advantageous.
