Contracts Manager

£60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance/Company Vehicle + Bonus + Benefits

Clements Young are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager that's looking to join a successful and growing construction contractor with a strong pipeline of work.

We're seeking a commercially aware and delivery-focused Contracts Manager to oversee multiple new build and refurbishment projects across a diverse range of sectors. The Role

You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Leading site teams and supporting Site Managers.
• Monitoring programme, quality, safety and commercial performance.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Chairing progress meetings and driving project delivery.
• Supporting pre-construction, planning and value engineering activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance and contribute to business growth.

About You

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry. Application will also be welcomed from highly experienced Project Managers seeking to progress into a Contract Mangers role.
• Strong track record delivering new build and refurbishment projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts and warranty requirements.
• Commercially astute with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
