We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester that is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. Job Overview:
* This school caters for students aged 11-16.
* Full-time, Monday - Friday, Cover Supervisor role.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Support students in completing set work and remaining engaged during lessons.
* Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress, behaviour, and engagement.
* Build positive relationships with students and staff across the school community.
* Support the wider pastoral and academic needs of students where required.
* Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
