Customer Service Advisor (Ongoing)

Location: Swadlincote / Church Gresley 
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid break)

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and fast-paced Collections Team based in Church Gresley. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Resolving customer issues and complaints efficiently and effectively
• Acting as the main point of contact for external hauliers experiencing collection issues on customer sites
• Handling challenging situations confidently while ensuring excellent customer service
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, resolutions, escalations, and process updates
• Providing accurate information regarding company services, policies, and procedures
• Gathering customer feedback to support service improvement
• Working closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth resolution of issues

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
• 5 GCSEs grade A–C preferred
