About the Role

Sure Start Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our client's busy Customer Service team in Oldham.

This is an initial 3-month temporary/fixed-term opportunity, with the potential to extend to 6 months and potentially become permanent for the right candidate.

You will provide a high standard of customer service, dealing with customer enquiries, processing orders and requests, resolving queries and building positive relationships with both customers and colleagues.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Customer Service, Customer Support or Customer Service Administration experience who enjoys working with people and is confident using IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing a friendly and professional service
• Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and effectively
• Process customer orders, requests and information accurately
• Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
• Follow up outstanding queries and keep customers informed
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Handle customer information accurately and confidentially
• Work as part of the wider Customer Service team to achieve departmental objectives
• Maintain a consistently high level of customer service and professionalism
