Associate Director - Electrical Engineering

Central London / Hybrid | £90,000 - £110,000 | Permanent

We're partnering with a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy to appoint an Associate Director - Electrical Engineering.

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer who wants more than project delivery. You'll take ownership of the electrical engineering function, lead a talented team, develop senior client relationships and play a key role in growing the business.

With genuine autonomy and direct exposure to clients and senior stakeholders, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact on both project delivery and the future direction of the electrical engineering offering.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for:

• Leading and developing the electrical engineering function.
• Providing senior technical leadership across a diverse project portfolio.
• Managing key client relationships and acting as a trusted technical adviser.
• Overseeing electrical engineering projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Ensuring technical quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Mentoring and developing engineers within the team.
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
• Supporting bids, tenders, fee proposals and work-winning.
• Helping shape the strategy and future growth of the electrical engineering business.

About You

You'll be an established electrical engineering professional with the technical credibility, leadership presence and commercial awareness to operate at Associate Director level.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong electrical building services experience.
• Significant UK consultancy, property or construction experience.
• A proven track record delivering complex projects.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring or managing engineers.
• A commercial and proactive approach to client development.
• The confidence to operate autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.
• UK project experience and full right to work in the UK.

Business development or work-winning experience is advantageous, but not essential.
