Job Description:

MMP are seeking an experienced Temporary Site Services Estimator to join our clients growing and reputable business within the construction and infrastructure sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in temporary site services who can accurately prepare estimates, support business development activities, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects nationwide.

Location: Surrey
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the temporary site services industry and will possess a strong understanding of the requirements and challenges associated with construction site infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for temporary site services projects.
• Review tender documentation, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements.
• Produce detailed quotations for temporary power, water, lighting, welfare facilities, and associated site services.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and project delivery.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.
• Attend client meetings and site visits where required.
• Support the business development team by providing technical and commercial input during tender submissions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and pricing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the Temporary Site Services sector.
• Previous experience working for a temporary site services provider, main contractor, or similar organisation.
• Industry experience with companies such as EMS, Wingate, Wysepower, Trident, or other recognised temporary site services contractors would be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Desirable Experience

• Background working on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of temporary electrics, water services, welfare units, metering, and site setup requirements.
• Experience pricing projects for residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
