Electrical Project Manager

London & Home Counties 

I'm working with a well-established electrical contractor that delivers high-quality electrical installations across commercial fit-out, refurbishment and wider building projects.

They're looking for an Electrical Project Manager who knows how to get a job delivered properly. Someone who can take ownership from pre-start through to completion, manage the detail on site and build strong relationships with main contractors and clients.

This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work on varied projects where quality, communication and programme delivery genuinely matter.

What will you be doing?

• Managing electrical installation packages from pre-construction and pre-start through to practical completion and handover.

• Planning and coordinating electrical works around the wider construction programme.

• Working closely with main contractors, clients, consultants and other trades to keep projects moving.

• Managing electricians, subcontractors, labour requirements and material procurement.

• Keeping a close eye on project costs, variations, budgets and commercial performance.

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health and safety and technical compliance.

• Attending site meetings, resolving problems and keeping stakeholders informed.

• Overseeing testing, commissioning and handover documentation, including O&M manuals and test certificates.

• Experience managing electrical projects within commercial fit-out, refurbishment or a similar construction environment.

• A solid understanding of electrical installations, site coordination and construction programmes.

• The ability to manage labour, subcontractors, materials and project costs.

• Confidence dealing with main contractors, clients and other project stakeholders.

• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to solve problems before they affect delivery.

• A strong focus on quality, safety and getting the job finished properly.
