Engineering Geologist

Are you an experienced Engineering Geologist ready to advance your career with a respected consultancy based near Stockport? This growing firm is looking to appoint a motivated Engineering Geologist to support the delivery of complex and varied ground investigation projects, while playing a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to project leadership.

Working within a highly skilled site investigation team, you will oversee and undertake site walkovers, Phase 1 desk studies, and detailed soil and rock logging. You'll be responsible for producing and reviewing high-quality factual and interpretive reports, managing borehole logging programmes, and providing technical guidance to junior colleagues, while also supporting project coordination and client engagement.

Requirements to be considered for this Engineering Geologist opportunity:

• Proven experience in geotechnical, geo-environmental, or engineering geology roles

• Degree in geology, geoscience, civil engineering, environmental science, or similar

• Strong reporting and ground investigation experience

• Ability to mentor and support junior team members

• Based within commuting distance of Manchester

• Full UK driving licence

• Right to work in the UK
