We are working with a fantastic secondary school in Northamptonshire who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their successful and supportive English faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across a wide age and ability range, from Year 7 through to A-Level, within a high-achieving and ambitious school environment. Role and responsibilities

* Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5

* Teach a broad English curriculum including:

* Literature

* Poetry

* Fiction and non-fiction texts

* Language analysis and writing skills

* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate students

* Assess, monitor, and support student progress effectively

* Contribute positively to the wider life of the English department and school community

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in English or a related subject

* Strong subject knowledge across the English curriculum

* The ability to teach students from Year 7 to A-Level

* Excellent classroom management and communication skills

* A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
