Birchrose Associates is proud to be representing a leading specialist law firm which is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to Partners within its Family team.

The Firm

A leading specialist law firm is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join its busy Family department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable firm, offering a supportive and collaborative working environment alongside experienced Partners and legal professionals.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide first-class support to Partners within a busy Family team. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, managing a variety of administrative responsibilities and supporting the wider department. Duties to include:

• Managing and maintaining Partners' and Fee Earners' diaries, coordinating appointments and internal and external meetings
• Organising UK and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation and itineraries
• Monitoring and managing emails, telephone calls and correspondence
• Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents, correspondence and presentations
• Coordinating the billing process, including preparing invoices and assisting with WIP
• Managing new client and matter opening procedures, maintaining files and assisting with file closures
• Organising departmental meetings, preparing agendas and coordinating meeting arrangements
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the secretarial team

This Executive Assistant opportunity is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday, 9.30am -5.30pm.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a Legal PA or Executive Assistant role within a law firm (essential)
• Experience supporting a Family Law team (desirable)
• Experience in billing, diary and inbox management, and travel coordination
