Primary School | Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant / Caretaker to join a busy Primary School on a temporary 2-week assignment with an immediate start.

Position Details

• Job Title: Facilities Assistant / Caretaker
• Location: Primary School
• Contract Type: Temporary (2 Weeks)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm
• Working Pattern: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school premises, ensuring the site is secure at all times.
• Basic repairs, maintenance, and handyman tasks.
• Ensuring classrooms, communal areas, and outdoor spaces are safe and well-maintained.
• Monitoring health and safety standards across the premises.
• Maintaining security of the school buildings and grounds.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to provide evidence of a current Enhanced DBS).
• Previous experience working as a Caretaker, Facilities Assistant, Site Supervisor, or Premises Assistant within a school environment.
