Job Description:

Fire Alarm Engineer / Fire & Security Engineer

Location: UK (specific coverage area to be confirmed)
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic, potentially negotiable for the right person

• Door-to-door travel paid

• £210 weekly standby payment, with overtime paid when called out

Company overview

Our client is an established Fire Protection business with over 30 years of industry experience, providing specialist fire safety solutions to customers across the UK. They continue to grow and offer engineers the opportunity to develop their careers within an expanding business. Secure & Recruit has successfully placed four engineers with the company, with one of those engineers already progressing into a Supervisor position. This gives us first-hand experience of the business and its commitment to developing its people.

Role overview

• Service, fault-finding, and repair of fire alarm systems.

• Complete small works and remedial works where required.

• Commission fire alarm systems where experience allows.

• Participate in a 1 in 6 week call-out rota.

Experience required

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.

• Fire alarm-only experience will be considered; security experience is not essential.

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

• Small works experience.

• Commissioning experience is desirable but not essential.

• A professional approach and good communication skills.
