Health & Safety Officer / HSEQ Officer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Private Healthcare + Training & Development + Progression + Long-Term Stability

Fleet, Hampshire (Commutable from: Farnborough, Aldershot, Camberley, Woking, Basingstoke, Guildford, Bracknell, Reading)

Are you a Health & Safety Officer or HSEQ Officer from a construction background looking for a newly created role where you can take real ownership and develop into a Health & Safety Manager as the business grows?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, expanding construction and infrastructure group where you will be backed with training and development, gain exposure to specialist electrical/high-voltage environments, and strengthen your experience across ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

This well-established contractor delivers varied projects nationwide across EV charging, petroleum and commercial infrastructure, working with blue-chip clients and long-term frameworks. Due to continued success and investment into HSEQ, they are looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you'll work closely with project and site teams across the full lifecycle, producing construction phase plans and RAMS, carrying out site audits, leading investigations, and maintaining the health, safety and environmental management systems.

This role would suit a Health & Safety professional who wants a long-term position with genuine development, increasing responsibility, and clear progression as the department evolves.

The Role:

• Health & safety support across construction and infrastructure projects
• Producing RAMS and construction phase plans / site set up plans
• Site audits, accident investigations and compliance support
• Maintaining H&S / environmental management systems and ISO standards
• Hybrid working from Fleet with UK site travel and client meetings

The Person:

• Construction Health & Safety experience (NEBOSH preferred)
• Good knowledge of RAMS and construction processes
• Full UK driving licence and strong communication / report writing skills
